Work to do!

“I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.”  John 17:4

Jesus spoke about his glorifying God, this was Jesus's testimony.  It would be nice to have the kind of testimony that Jesus had.    I want to remind you today that God created you for the express purpose of knowing him, and to glorify him.

How did Jesus glorify him?   He said, "I finished the work."  You mean to tell me that God has given to us a work to do?   Absolutely!  Isn’t it amazing the amount of excuses that we have for not doing the work that he has called us to do?

Nothing should be more important in our lives than the work that God has called us to do, NOthing!  Let me encourage you not to put God’s agenda on the back burner.  If he is the supreme passion of your life, than make his commission a priority!

We would be in a world of trouble today if Jesus had not finished the work that God sent him to do!  Just think about it...

If God has placed you here to do a work than someone will be blessed through your obedience to glorify God!

Yes.  God can and will use anyone.  But, is it not amazing that he choose you?
