JESUS’ REQUEST FOR OUR PROTECTION  {Part 1}
John 17:11-12
IBC; March 30, 2014 PM


Lessons Learned:     {so far}

NUMBER 1:  Jesus was glorified in the disciples because they had kept the Father’s Word

NUMBER 2.  Jesus is glorified in the disciples because they belonged to Him   

NUMBER 3.  Jesus is glorified in the disciples because He has sent them into the world

Statement of Truth:
“As believers who are ‘in Christ,’ our mission is the same mission and work of the Son. 

             THE SON OF GOD:  LEAVING

Statement of  Truth:
The answer to trouble is trust

             THE SON OF GOD:  PRAYING

                        1.    Jesus prays that they would be protected

                        2.   Jesus prays that they be united

                        3.   Jesus prays that they be delighted


                       4.   Jesus prays that they be dedicated

I am not eternally secure because I'm holding on, but I am eternally secure because he has me in his hand

I am not keeping my self, but I am being kept by the power of God!

You will never pray wrong if you pray what Jesus prayed, and you will never do wrong if you do what Jesus did!
