Paul’s celebration of their spiritual
consecration!
- Why is
Paul celebrating?
1. The
church gave materially to Paul and received spiritually from the
Lord!
2. Paul’s
real joy was not what the gift did for him but what the gift did for them!
3. No
gift that we give to God ever leaves us poorer!
4. Allowed
the church to get on the giving cycle of eternity!
5. He
celebrated because of what they would receive as a result of their gift!
