Recommendations for the Depressed:
- Cling to the promise that the Lord will never
leave or forsake you
- Take in consolation from God’s Word and prayer
in consistent doses
- Respond to the Holy Spirit if He places His finger on any
sin
- Set your mind on truth
- Reach out to others in the body of
Christ
- Pursue counseling
- Take necessary steps to improve your overall health
- Talk to your medical doctor
- If you are
having thoughts of suicide, reach out to someone right away: Call
1-800-SUICIDE, or call 911, or go to an emergency room for immediate help
