AGAPE
LOVE creates value in its object whether there is any intrinsic value there or
not.
II. The Manifestation Of God’s Love v9-10
God
Manifested His Love:
- God initiated this mission
- “God sent”
- God sent His “only Son”
- “one of a kind”
- God offers eternal Hope
- “so that we might live through Him”
- Love originates with God and not with
us
- “not that we have loved God but that he loved us”
- God’s love is demonstrated by its cost.
- “God sent his Son to be the propitiation”
